Local Teacher Gives the Gift of Play to Her Students

Local second grade teacher realized that many of her students didn't have a board game at home. As someone who loves sharing a game night with friends and family, she thought what better way to get families to get off the screens and connect with one another at home than giving the gift of a new game this holiday season. She took to Facebook to see if anyone wanted in on the idea. Within minutes a board game for every single kid in her classroom was purchased. Not only will no kid have a giftless Christmas, now they'll also have the excitement and memories of playing a board game with a loved one or friend this winter.
